Much of our work revolves around the topic: How can I make the buying experience as pleasant as possible for our customers' customers? Fast checkout, easy processing, and a clean look.

We've therefore worked with many e-commerce systems, from Magento to WooCommerce and Shopware to Modified. However, the e-commerce system we've had the best experience with is Shopify.

We are proud Shopify partners and would like to use this blog to explain why we are so in love with the system:

#1 User-friendliness

As an agency, we can certainly handle various shop systems, but what about the client? Ultimately, they need to understand what's actually happening in their shop through the apps and dashboards. Shopify is perfectly suited for this, as the user experience is as simplified as possible, which is particularly well-received by less tech-savvy clients.

The apps automate many time-consuming processes (order confirmation, invoicing, shipment tracking, etc.). Even profit calculations can be imported into Shopify.


#2 Technical progress through developer culture


With the Shopify Appstore, the system is in no way inferior to WordPress. From my own experience, I would even say that it's easier for new users to navigate the Shopify universe. But integration with other software is also easier than ever with Shopify.

The connection to a POS system or Ebay or Etsy is really easy and even for the Facebook and Instagram shop (for which some developers charge up to 3 hours), there is a simple app that automatically submits and creates the shops.

Shopify is also pretty far ahead when it comes to personalized product displays. For nerds like me, there are other little features that excite me, but that might be going into too much detail.

#3 Sales optimization

The Shopify Checkout is one of the best and simplest checkouts available. It's very easy to use and looks particularly great on mobile. As an agency, we generate almost all of our traffic for our clients through social media ads, and most of our users are on their mobile devices. That's why the mobile experience is so important to us.

Shopify's product pages are very customizable, although you may sometimes need an app. In general, Shopify shines with a certain framework that it provides, which has already proven to be highly effective in sales.

#4 The independence of the customer

As an agency, we highly value Shopify because it's so easy for clients to learn. They can quickly get up to speed and learn how to use it, which saves us time as an agency and the client money. Other agencies might be happy to charge you a few hours for this, but we prefer to take care of the Facebook ads for your store.

#5 SEO on the site can largely be handled by apps


There are Shopify apps that almost completely automate on-page SEO. This includes optimizing the store's loading speed, adding image descriptions, and having pages indexed by Google. This saves customers a tremendous amount of time, and they can achieve an SEO score of 70/100 from day one without much additional effort. Especially here in Germany, that's enough to put them ahead of the competition.

All he has to do then is provide proper links to his site and regularly write high-quality content, such as blogs.
