4 social media content that almost always works for businesses

4 Social Media Inhalte, die für Unternehmen fast immer funktionieren - Optinize

You may know the feeling: you're sitting at home and thinking: What could you post this Saturday evening?

You try to post something that offers added value to your followers. But how can you combine that with the fact that you also want to sell something?

Don't worry, we have the posts that always work.

The social media lists

What really always works are lists. Somehow, we have an affinity for things that have a number attached to them, along with a topic that interests us.

The title of this blog is just one example of how lists capture our interest much more easily than a normal title could.

But how do you put it into practice? It's relatively easy to do on Instagram, because all you need is a swipe-up post. You've probably seen it before, where you can simply swipe right on certain Instagram posts.

It can be the same with your posts: you can simply create a post with the list and integrate the respective points. You can then expand on a section of the list in each slide and support it visually, even with an image or a video.

Examples include “The 4 most beautiful wine regions in Germany” or “The 3 worst fashion slip-ups for men”

Tell about the future

Maybe you can't think of a list to present right now, or you just don't feel like researching anything. In that case, you can simply share some news about your company with your followers.

Maybe there's a new project she wants to develop? Maybe you have an exciting cola collaboration coming up? Or maybe it's just a new collection or product range that's about to be released. Whatever it is, there will be some of your followers who are just waiting to hear from you.

Therefore, always keep your followers up to date, as this also ensures good follower retention. We actually love to hear news, and with all the negative things in the media, it's no surprise that we appreciate positive news every now and then.

Show us the behind-the-scenes

What always works well, especially when you're a little younger, is to give a glimpse behind the scenes. It's always interesting to see what actually goes on behind the scenes of a company. For example, you can show us your employees or how you manage certain things.

This is often combined with showing what problem a particular customer has and how you're currently solving it. This, of course, also demonstrates your capability and that you genuinely care about your customers.

Awaken emotions

I've saved probably the most popular and effective post type for last. It's all about triggering emotions in the other person. You might often see certain companies posting motivational quotes or simply things meant to motivate you. You often see this with fitness and sports companies, which ultimately benefit from motivating their followers to do something.

Another example is entertainment. No matter what kind of post you make, you'll probably get the most likes if you post a meme. We love to laugh and we like to surround ourselves with positive emotions.

Another example, which we don't see very often, is anger. We really enjoy watching someone get upset about something. But it doesn't matter whether they share our opinion or not. We just love watching someone get upset about a topic. Pretty funny, right?

Of course, this only works if you also create a corresponding video. Only then can the emotions truly reach the consumer.

So when it comes to emotions, you have a lot of options. If you're feeling funny, post a meme. If that's not your style, you can always share something about yourself that you've overcome. For example, you could talk about a time you had problems at work. That conveys humanity and can inspire others who might be afraid of something. This strategy works extremely well in the entrepreneurial world to motivate others to start their own businesses.

Summary

In general, you've now read a few posts from me that should help you further in your social media career. Of course, there are many other posting options you can incorporate. These are just the most common ones you're likely to encounter. If you liked this blog post, please share it with anyone who's having trouble posting. Until then, have a nice day, Michael Kaschinski.
